Day 1: Yarra Glen to Marysville - A Journey Through History

Our adventure begins in Yarra Glen, where the roar of engines marks the commencement of an epic journey. We'll kickstart our exploration by navigating through Toolangi State Forest, where you'll dance with the elements of nature on the orange, slippery clay. Stopping for lunch in Marysville, a town that faced one of the worst bushfires in Victorian history on February 7, 2009. Also home to the famous 'Big Tree,' a 400-year-old giant reaching 85 meters above the forest floor. Our journey continues along the sides of Big River, where you can see the white water swirl and crash over rocks and boulders in the river. Passing through Enochs point, an old mining town nestled in the scrub then into Jamieson, a charming historic village nestled at the confluence of the Goulburn and Jamieson Rivers, surrounded by the beauty of Lake Eildon's southeastern corner.

Day 2: Licola - Adventure in Big Country

Day two promises thrilling tracks as we travel to Licola, a unique village located beside the Macalister River. Our journey takes us over some BIG country, passing over Mt Terrible at 1260m with views of Mt Bulla and the high country, all the way back down crossing the Goulburn river will surely capture a few pics for "the gram". We Grab a bite from Luke and Carly at the Woods Point Commercial Hotel, lukes smoked chicken or brisket burgers are to die for. Catching our breath before setting off to our final destination for the day, still with a decent ride on our hands. Edging our way around Thompson dam, riding some epic area, one track we call "lifetime spot" as its just one of those you have to see before you go in the box. Arriving into Licola we cross the timber bridge over the Mcalister river, what sets Licola apart is its ownership - the entire township is owned by the Lions Clubs of Victoria and Southern New South Wales. It's the only privately owned town in Victoria and the only one not connected to mains power. Licola's story is as remarkable as its landscapes, and it offers a unique stop on our adventure.

Day 3: Dargo - Captivating Landscapes and Heart-Pounding Challenges

Day three is a day of captivating landscapes and adrenaline-pumping challenges as we journey to Dargo. We pack lunch from the general store and leave Licola behind, winding through bitumen twisties and climbing mountains with rocky washouts and breathtaking views. Dargo, with its thrilling trails like King Billy and Billy Goats Bluff, is where adventure meets nature's grandeur at every turn.

Day 4: Bright - Conquering the Blue Rag Track

As we venture forth on day four, we'll make our way to Bright, a destination that promises the sheer majesty of the Blue Rag track. Conquer its formidable terrain and be rewarded with extraordinary views from the top. Cruising along consistently at 1500m above sea level, these panoramic vistas will take your breath away, and the sense of triumph will be unforgettable. Our entry into bright requires a little local knowledge to avoid the bitumen and drop straight into a local watering hole for a well earned froffy.

Day 5: Bonnie Doon - Adventure Meets Serenity

On day five, we'll travel to Bonnie Doon, a journey filled ever changing landscapes. Starting out through the stunning Buckland Valley, famous early days for its gold mining and now wine growing. Through Whitfield, a pretty little town with some delicious restaurants and even better wines made by Dal zotto and Pazzini to name a few. We cruise out over Mt Samaria, tuck around the back of lake Nillahcootie and into the Strathbogie ranges. It’s here you will some epic boulder and rock formations that will distract you from the premium granite infused dirt the ground holds. We descend down into Bonne Doon where adventure meets serenity. This picturesque destination offers a respite from the adrenaline rush, allowing you to soak in the tranquility and reflect on the incredible journey you've experienced so far.

Day 6: Return to Yarra Glen - An Unforgettable Finale

As we conclude our epic adventure on day six, Aiden will take you via some private property on the journey over the hill where you will enjoy an amazing view of lake eildon from on top of a mountain. After you pick your jaw up we will continue through to Home base Alexandra, and out through the black range state forrest to Murrindindi. The name "Murrindindi" is often erroneously thought to come from an Aboriginal word meaning "nestling in the valley". It does in fact mean "five fingers", a representation of the rock formation visible at the northern end of the township. From here we drop down into Dixons creek, returning to Yarra Glen, bringing an end to an unforgettable experience that will forever be etched in your memory.
